Two leading law firms choose Change-Pro's Total Document Comparison Solution

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Jones Day, two of the world's largest law firms, have chosen Change-Pro's TDC Suite to manage their firms' document comparison processes.

McLeansville, NC — Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Jones Day, two of the world's top ten law firms, have selected Litéra® Corp’s Change-Pro® Total Document Comparison Suite to manage document comparison for their firms. Both firms conducted extensive testing and reviewing of Change-Pro’s patent-pending document comparison product prior to making their decisions.

Change-Pro compares the total document, including embedded objects (e.g.: Excel, Visio, ChemDraw and SmartDraw objects) and embedded images (e.g.: jpg, tiff, bmp, gif, png and more) and is backed by responsive and respectful customer service and technical support teams.

"The addition of Freshfields and Jones Day to the Change-Pro family solidifies to us that our business strategy works," said Deepak Massand, founder and C.E.O. of Litéra Corp. "Our clients demand access to the latest in technological advances, but they also need a partner company that closely works with their technical teams with respect and consideration at each step of the way."

Freshfields and Jones Day are just two of many recent converts to the Change-Pro Total Document solution. In recent months, a number of leading law firms, including White & Williams, Heenan Blakie, Downey Brand and Eckert Seamans, have also switched to Change-Pro's patent-pending solution, the only product available that redlines the total document.

Softwise® Corporation and Litéra® Corp. Announce Joint Venture

Two Metadata Management Utilities Become One Highly Advanced Offering

Staten Island, NY and McLeansville, NC: SoftWise® Corporation (www.softwise.net) and Litéra® Corp. (www.litera.com), two highly respected resources in the document production and management marketplace, have agreed to merge their respective metadata utilities, Out-of-Sight® and Metadata Sweeper®. The new product is to be named Metadact.

Metadact will allow users to view and act on Metadata in all Microsoft Office and PDF documents. The combining of the two products has produced a consummate set of 14 features that, until now, were exclusive to only one of the two. Metadact will be available to Litéra's customers in late 2008.

The announcement of this merger was made by SoftWise Corporation Founder and President William L. Robertson and by Deepak Massand, founder of Litéra Corp.

“Both our companies share an unswerving commitment to our users and to the quality of our products. This product merger now provides the best features and the most highly effective functionality of two strong and distinctive solutions,” states Robertson.

Massand added, “Metadact will combine the best of Out-of-Sight and Metadata Sweeper. Both these products have already proven their unequivocal values in the marketplace. By merging the two technologies, we underscore the critical importance of easily accessible metadata management.”

Metadata is the collective term for embedded information contained in all Microsoft Office documents. Though usually hidden on screen, metadata components such as last 10 authors, file paths, editing time, tracked changes and comments are constantly accumulating and can be easily discovered in any electronic document. Delivered as a shrink-wrapped engine, Metadact’s easy-to-use, single dialog approach to design will enable firms to identify metadata components within their documents; generate detailed reports of that metadata; and then “clean” those documents, before sending them, by eliminating the unwanted metadata.
